So, Before The Old Oaks Mall Opened, It Was The Los Robles Golf Course With 18 Holes, And You Had To Go Under-The-101-Freeway To Get To The Other-Side,  Completing The 18-Hole Golf Course!

I started 2nd Grade At Manzanita School in The Timber School District, 1968.. And it was that year they’d built The Thousand Oaks Drive-in Movie Theater, -Nearby Our House, -And I Could Watch It From Our Own Backyard!

In 1970, My Parents Had Bought Two New VW’s a Bus and a Beetle! And One Summer Night, We Loaded The Van With Popcorn, Sugary-Sweet Cherry Koolaid and Our Sleeping Bags, and Together Our Family Saw, Walt Disney’s “The Love Bug” (with Herbie #53).

I Can Still Remember, How Cute and Funny That Buddy Hackett Was and I Can Still Remember Having A Sincere Respect for Dean Jones, Because He Always Seemed To Portray A Responsible And Respectable Character in Every Movie I Can Remember Seeing Him In!

Its Probably A Part Of My DNA Or Something, Because My Memories Compel Me To Strive Toward Bringing The Experience of An Outdoor Movie Setting To The World! And Because The Oaks Mall Appears To Be Dying, I Sense The Real Opportunity To Bring My Big Dream To Life, More Than Ever, Now!

Now, To Me, That Screams A Problem, But, I Have A Solution!!!!!!

..So I Present an [un-expected / un-warranted / un-expected] Solution..

If You’ll Bother To Observe By Scrutinizing The Images.. -I visited The Oaks Mall on a Thursday, The Big Day Of The So-Called “Farmers Market”..

(Like A Swap Meet For Hopeful’s)

You May Notice A Mute Colored #ConexBox In The Foreground, Yeah? ..You Can See These “Shipping Container Box” Things Everywhere, If You Didn’t Notice, Before..

 

They Even Turn These So-Called #ConexBoxes Into Tiny Homes, Bed And Breakfast Chalet’s, And In Lisbon, Portugal, Croydon, England And Dubai, They Even Have Box Park (Shopping Malls)

Created From These Often-Discarded, Left-Over, Throw-Away, Shipping Container Boxes (After Amazon Brings Millions Of Manufactured Products -In Thousands of Containers, -To The United States, -From Asia..).

 

I Have Been Monitoring THE RETAIL PROBLEM ONLINE, SINCE 2012

Out Of Hundreds of Dying Retail Companies And Millions Of Hourly-Paid-Employee’s, I Think I’m The Only Person Trying To Remedy The Problem!

We Could Never Allow THAT AS A SOLUTION, What About Handicap Access?…” (I guess he didn’t like the idea, couldn’t imagine what I described, -over-the-phone?)..

My Suspicions Seem To Be Confirmed About Those Who Are The So-Called Leaders of Communities -They Don’t Care..!

I Have Watched The Old Kmart Building, Off Hampshire Road, In Westlake Village Sit Vacant For Over 30 Years. Another Perfect Location For My Proposed Retail Solution..
